Its about time, I think this is going to be an important thing to build the scene, having an 18+ weekly will help the under 21 crowd grow and can be an avenue to promote bigger events.

That said, please spread the word and start coming out. Also We are looking for guest DJs, bur preferable younger ones who are either under 21 or have a lot of friends under 21 as I know you over 21ers and friends aren't going to want to go somewhere you can't drink.

Hmm, I have never been there and know nothing about this place, ironically the promoter was working the front desk of the Hotel that Pete(bassbin Twins) stayed at and we got talking about throwing parties and he contacted me about helping with this night, he does Wed. and Fri. there too. I am hoping to take it over myself, he is only planning on doing it for 2 months.

I can say from dealing with Zee in the past, and I only say this out of care, WATCH YOUR BACK. That guy is a fuckin two faced asshole. And make sure you "care" about his feelings when you're ever talking to him. He's a bit on the emotional side!! (LMFAO)

No but good luck! For real! I won't be able to attend these events. My last meeting with Zee ended with me putting my middle finger in his face and flipping off the entire Babylon staff and saying some highly offensive things.

I've been chatting for the past week or so with DJ Tooie (Ryan) whos been playing there for the past while now and picked up Djing a year ago and is only 20.

He's off to see Deadmau5 today in SLC. Seams like a cool kid! You know I'm down for this!

PERFECT! Its funny you say that in your PM I was thinking "I need to take this Toee kid to an SLC party so he can know what Boise could be like" Get Lucky tonight is the perfect party for him to experience, it might break records and hit over 6K in attendance, I'd say 4k at least. Then he will see the vision I have and can help build the scene.

Anyways , Zee is one of my neices dad, and i know him personally . i wouldnt do business with him myself. But on the other hand i am STOKED that you guys are providing a place for the younger crowd.I know how i felt when i was under 21 . But i definantly support it. It almost brings a tear to my eye. But like Aaron said, be careful what you bring to ZEES. Dont get outta control , because one slip up could take what we have been trying to build up , back down again. And then that wouldnt look pretty. But anyway GOOD LUCK. And keep it safe.!!! I might swing by a time or 2 and check it out.

OK so this guy Joe bridges tells me he wants me to help with the night, I go there the 2nd week, DJ toee is playing and though he's a cool kid and is trying, doesn't know how to spin. I guess after the 3rd week then they decided to cancel it and I decided I didn't want to work with them anyways. Might do some things with Joe but not this. Oh and they didn't even tell me, I had some kids that I had told about it show up and tell me they weren't playing dance music, I called and asked and they said, Oh ya we decided to cancel it. I have some new ideas up my sleeve so look out soon for a for real 18+ dance night that I will be putting on(hopefully, we'll see if it pans out)

Yeah after talking and hanging out with Tooie Sat. morning, he filled me in on how Zee is done with Joe Bridges' contract (It goes on a month to month apparently) and so the Dance and even Hip Hop nights are done with... So not sure if Zee is gonna pick up a new contract with someone else, or if he's going to resort back to the Virtual DJ playlist...

I'm gonna go talk to Zee sometime soon about starting up a new contract and making it bigger and better than before... I have some ideas up my sleeve, but am keeping it a secret for now

I heard your new mix tooie and you have improved 10 fold since then. That night I came to Zees you trainwrecked half or more of the mixes and you'd go from House to Hardstyle to hip hop with no transitions that worked. That said your new Mix is Really good, way to practice and get better. Hey how is Evan GoldenBoy at spinning, that kid used to help me promote shit in I.F. back in the day.

Even is doing well. I spin w/ him every time I throw an event. He just invested in some CDXs and is using my DDM4000 mixer and cds. He has improved very much but above all the kid has the heart for it and wants to inprove and thats what I admire. That being said, thanks for the compliment. I really try to work at it almost every day, love doing it. When we met I had just ventured out from bed room djing and my skills were far under sub par. I just thought it was funny looking back at it. DJing at Zees was a very very dark time in my djing career. Couldn't play what I loved to play because all the kiddies wanna hear top 40 and wretched hip-hop. My advice as I'm sure your all aware of is steer clear of this club owner by all costs.

LOL Zees went out of Business, its an empty building for lease. Another one of the hookah bars got shut down for fire code reasons. Slowly all those lame Hookah bars are going down. I think only Ali Babbas will last.
